Beauty beyond vision

Beauty is a concept regularly applied to forms and structures which we appreciate with our eyes. But there are other forms and structures which are not immediately visible because they are exist over distances beyond the human scale or time periods beyond the human life. The structure of an ecosystem, or the form of a language as it develops over centuries are examples of a beauty which truly transcends personal existence in the real world in a way that makes 'spiritual' beauty a mere sham; the fluff of desperation mingled with boredom in the tumble-dryer of superstitious 'beliefs'.
