Piero Manzoni (1933-63) was an Italian artist who, as a comment on the cult of
personality surrounding the art world, produced a limited edition of cans each containing
thirty grams of his own shit.
It's kind of funny, but kind of sad too.
I made this image using Photoshop by combining the poem I wrote in 1997 with a photograph I
took as a teenager in the field behind our house in Yeovil, Somerset, England in 1979 or '80.
